These sheepskin boots are showing a strong season this year, as tall UGG boots are being paired with skinny jeans and miniskirts. Chocolate is this year’s hot color with jeans, and Black is back as a fashion basic.
These Classic UGG boots are crafted from twin-faced grade-A Merino sheepskin — top quality from New Zealand and Australia. Fully lined in natural shearling, these boots are designed for ultimate comfort and warmth. Wear ‘em barefoot (sheepskin’s naturally thermostatic properties keep bare feet comfortable in a wide range of temperatures). Fit should be snug, but not uncomfortable — the fleece footbed will conform to the shape of your feet. Watch out for cheap imitations. Plenty of boots are made from cow suede, trimmed with a low-grade shearling fleece liner that’s sewn or glued in. Cow suede just doesn’t breath like real sheepskin. Those faux sheepskin boots are uncomfortable, sweaty and smelly. Save yourself the trouble and stay with real sheepskin.
